Founded in 2000 by physicians, staff, and patients of New York Oncology Hematology (NYOH), the NYOH Community Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to local cancer patients in New York’s Capital Region. The foundation helps alleviate financial burdens by covering essential expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries, and transportation, allowing patients to focus on their treatment and recovery. Additionally, the foundation offers patient education resources and hosts fundraising events like “Evening of Stories” and “Rock Your Style®” to support its mission.
