My husband and I just recently did a trip to Ocean City Maryland (May 7-10 2019). Pete was our driver. When people go on bus trips they trust their drivers to be professional and make good decisions on the road, after all you are entrusting your life in their hands. Pete is an incredible driver and never once did I feel unsafe with him behind the wheel of that 45 foot bus. It was a fairly new bus and he took care of it as if it was his own personal vehicle. He should get an award for the way he handled the bus. He could whip that bus around in a tight space, do 3-point turns, back-up in parking lots surrounded by other vehicles and obstacles. It was just amazing at how well he handled the bus and with such confidence. He was very conscientious about the safety of his passengers too. He always made sure that the bus was completely stopped before anyone stood up and always tried to park as close to the door as possible for the seniors and the passengers with mobility issues. When your drivers are out on the road they are representing Wade Tours and the name Wade. Pete is one of those exemplary employees who is proud to be a Wade Tours employee, right on down to how he dressed. He always dressed so professionally wearing nice pants and a collared shirt during our stay, but on the way home, the morning that we left, a crisp white shirt , a tie, and dress pants. From a conversation that I had with Pete, I understand that Wade is very good to its employees, and in today’s world that’s how you keep good employees. Wade should be honored to have such a conscientious employee, because Pete is a very good, safe driver who takes his job very seriously and with such pride.
Lastly, I’d like to mention the girls in your office who take the calls, answer questions and book the reservations.. They too are also very professional. They are polite and courteous and most importantly, they return your call, which you don’t always get with the other bus companies. We will definitely be traveling again with Wade Tours.

We wanted to comment regarding two trips we took over the last two weeks.
Our trip to Myrtle Beach with Pete and Ricki was wonderful. Both go out of their way to be sure everyone Is comfortable on the bus as well as enjoying their vacation. Pete took two trips to shopping areas which I think are above what he was required. We enjoy traveling with Pete and Ricki.

The second trip yesterday gives applause to Kevin on our trip to White Plains for Bodyguard. He kept his sence of humor through out the changes in the itinerary. I think not being able to park conveniently and not having lunch was unfortunate. He drove around for an hour before dropping us off for lunch. He found a shopping mall not far from the theater that he could park for the afternoon. The woman that assisted him with bringing the group to lunch and the show did an excellent job.

Hello, Just a note of appreciation. I am a New York City tour guide and I had the pleasure of being on one of your buses for 5 days with a group. The group was a marching band performing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The driver was incredible. I hope that I am spelling his name correctly, Josue (told me to pronounce it as Josh), during my 10 years as a NYC tour guide, was one of the best I have ever met. Nice, helpful to the students and very smart.

I freelance for a travel group in the U.K., I gave them your information as they are looking to charter coach for a group of 24. I do not know when or exactly for how long. They just asked me for a referral. And so we are clear, I am not looking for anything except a pat on the back for Josue who is not only an exceptional person but an exceptional driver as well.

Sat/. we went with Wade to the NY Yankee Game vs Toronto; that was my very FIRST time @ the stadium & I was in awe. I (& we) were also very pleased with our driver – I believe his name was Tom. He was very friendly & helpful & kept us informed all the way. On our return, he had to go a different route through Harlem because he was told there was a backup on the Major Deagan highway but he assured us it was safe & that even Spanish Harlem was beautiful but it was dark; he took the fear of traveling through Harlem away. He is a keeper for sure.

Just finished a tour to Amish Country and Sight and Sound Jesus. WONDERFUL trip! George our bus driver was superb! Excellent driver plus gave us a lot of information about the Amish! Sara our hostess was equally superb – very kind and caring and organized! Will DEFINITELY book another trip with Wade – this was my first one with Wade! Highly recommend you!

Only concern I would mention would be: All of us wished the bus had tray tables, a cup holder and even plug ins for our phones.

The hotel, Miller’s Smorgasbord and everything were first rate!

Letchworth State Park tour Oct 14th. Thank you to Paul, the driver on the Letchworth State Park trip.

I am quite sure you’ve been informed of the unfortunate incident to the elderly man who literally fell off the bank in front of the bus Paul was driving out of Letchworth State Park. Paul’s response to this situation was exemplary, he secured the bus, stepped out to help the elderly man, when another person came to help, Paul returned to get a blanket and first aid kit.

He continued to offer assistance, as did a few passengers with medical training, until a man arrived who identified himself as a physician. Paul certainly distinguished both himself and Wade Tours with his efforts.

Please give Paul a big pat on the back for such a great job . Thank you, Colleen C

I was on the trip to Montreal on Friday, seat #1. I got to see real close the driving conditions we went through.

I can’t say enough about the job our driver Ron did under those conditions.

Those in the back of the bus have no clue the job he did weaving around slow moving traffic, snow plows, idiots, etc.

Ron can be my driver any day but not sure I want that seat under those conditions; let me be dumb to all that and sit me in back. Nice job Ron.

Just returned from the Michigan Tour (June 16-22) Absolutely fabulous !!!Great sights, guides, things to see and do.

Perhaps next year if you reschedule this trip, have us spend more time at Thunder Bay Resort and explore the surrounding area. Also, the Upper Peninsula would be great to visit.

My daughter Katrina and I had a truly wonderful trip to MI.

I am alone and after traveling with Ricky and Pete, I would never hesitate to go on a trip alone. Ricky made me feel totally comfortable and sincerely, actually counted us before leaving any stop. Many of the escorts are fun, kind etc, but Ricky “really took care of us.”

I will be asking who escorts are, as I make future trips. AND……….I am from the Oneida are, so anytime Utica pick up can happen I truly appreciate it. My next trip is NH in September. I hope a Utica pick up will be possible. Thank you

Our tour bus to Cape Cod broke down on the New York Thruway on Tuesday Sept. 25, 2018. Diamond Tours contacted Wade Tours to provide a replacement bus to continue our tour. Within two hours a bus was at the service plaza to rescue our tour. The coach was driven by Rick Denero who was professionally dressed and VERY helpful in the transferring nearly 50 bags of luggage. He got us to the cape in time for dinner, then stayed with us until a replacement bus from the original company arrived. All of us on the tour want to THANK RICK DENERO for saving our trip.

we have taken wade tour s to atlantic city many times, to capecode, to the bronx zoo and too many places to name. It’s great! we get on the bus, take a nap and we are there! The accomadations have always been good,and you certainly cant beat the price. We already have 2 tours scheduled for this summer. It’s the only way to go!!!!

“very good affordable bus tours”

My husband and I have taken several trips, some overnight, some day trips, with Wade. We were always extremely happy with the tours. Starting with making reservations, the driver and the escort. All were very helpful, polite and courteous. We always had great drivers. For overnighters, Wade stays in middle priced hotels, which are clean and comfortable. On overnighters, they have step on guides, which are all very knowledgable and you really learn a lot about the area, town, and history.

When you take a bus tour, you definitely have to be flexible, which makes it that much more fun.
Any bus tour is not for you if you can’t adjust, complain about wipes, etc.and are not adventures.
